The wine auction of the ancient hospital of Beaune is the biggest charity sale to the world since 1859. Thanks to its 58 hectares of high quality wineyards, the hospital could look after the patients from the medieval time until now. For the occasion, there are three days of festivities, so come and stay at la Terre d'Or to enjoy it !

Last winter, we enlarged the grotto. This winter, Jean-Louis decided on another project: improving comfort and ecology.

Burgundy celebrates Saint Vincent on January 29 and 30, 2011 in Corgoloin, a little village north of Beaune. A great time for a very friendly wine tasting in the middle of winter.

After the grape harvest, vine leaves turn to the yellow, to the orange and to the red, the landscapes are exceptional and change every day, turning then to the brown.

On May 10th, La Terre d’Or celebrated its 10 years anniversary, the opportunity to show you our last realizations and some beautiful subterranean surprises!

Lilacs are among the first ones, then come laburnums in yellow, brooms in yellow also without forgetting the wild orchids 4 varieties of which you will discover.

During the freezing temperatures of winter, it’s still 12°C (54°F) in the grotto, under La Terre d’Or, just the right time to dig again and surprise you when you come back: a well-being area with spa, a new wine tasting area and more still!

an event not to be missed for any amateur of Burgundy wine. In January, don’t miss the traditional Saint Vincent Tournante, a major event in Burgundy. Throngs of wine lovers are received by wine makers of a different village each year, this year in Chassagne-Montrachet, January 30th and 31st.
