Last winter, we enlarged the grotto. This winter, Jean-Louis decided on another project: improving comfort and ecology:

 For your comfort:

- Heated swimming pool: you can swim from May until October!

- Air conditioning in all the rooms

- WiFi access everywhere

For the organic gardens:

- Completely organic for 20 years – Christine

- Compost to fertilize the soil, produced since 2009 by grinding of branches, recycling grass clippings and tree leaves – Jean-Louis

- Watering of the garden with rainwater collected from the roof and stored in a 35m3 /   9000 gallon water tank in the grotto – Jean-Louis

For environmentally friendly buildings:

- Heating in all the buildings by heat pump 

- Hot water heated by solar panels

- 2 photoelectric panels of 30 m3 each

 All this should allow la Terre d’Or to be totally independent in energy!
