Saint Vincent Tournante wine festival in Corgoloin : January 29 and 30, 2011

For more than 70 years, this joyful Burgundian event takes place in a different village each year. Visitors purchase the Saint Vincent souvenir glass and tasting pack (15 euro) and can then taste as many as 8 different wines at the winemakers’ of the village. The vaulted cellars of the wine makers are opened from 11 am to 5 pm, on Saturday and Sunday.

The villagers spent weeks making thousands of paper flowers to decorate the streets, giving a premature impression of spring. The Saint Vincent Tournante perpetuates the ‘Saint Vincent’ spirit and ritual: mass, parade, tasting and banquet on Saturday evening (140 euro per pers).

To fully enjoy the wine festival, come and stay at La Terre d’Or, we’ll help you to discover Burgundy and make sure you have a great stay.
