Would you like to experience Burgundy life with locals, discover its treasures, its gastronomy, its great wines and its charming villages without needing to organize everything? Come to our charming B&B La Terre d’Or, we would be very happy to welcome you here in Beaune, take you to our best places and share our love for Burgundy!

Arrival day:
- 4 to 7 pm Welcome to La Terre d’Or! Make yourself comfortable in your room, enjoy a first glass of Burgundy wine and you’ll be ready to visit the special grotto under the house! Your first dinner with the best Burgundy cheeses and charcuteries + salad and home made cake.
2nd day: Côte de Beaune vineyard tour
- 10 am Departure for Pommard, Volnay, Meursault…all the prestigious villages of Côte de Beaune with vineyard maps and explanations in the vineyards. Talks about Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the specificities of Burgundy “terroir”, wine classification…
- 11 am Wine-tasting at Le Caveau de Meursault, a large estate with a good choice of great wines. Sarah and Hélène are very enthusiastic about wine, you will learn a lot!
- 12.30 am Experience a good casual lunch in a charming village restaurant for the locals: Le Cellier Volnaysien, L’Estaminet or L’Auberge du Vieux Vigneron
- 2 pm Wine-tasting at Vignes et Vergers with Hubert in a charming vaulted cellar, in Chassagne-Montrachet : this family winery is all organic, and Hubert will give you his organic jam to taste also!
- 3.30 pm Stop at the most famous Montrachet Grands Crus vineyard area and learn about this very special Chardonnay “terroir”.
- 4 pm Wine-tasting at a traditional small winemaker: Domaine Debray with Yvonnick, Domaine Denis Carré or Domaine Rocault with Blandine & François
- 5.00 pm Return to La Terre d’Or – optional visit of Le Clos with Jean-Louis (little vineyard, truffle plantation…) and relaxing time before dinner
3rd day: Côte de Nuits vineyard tour
- 8 to 10 am Breakfast on the terrace or in the living room
- 10.00 am Departure for the famous Pinot Noir villages along the Grands Crus wine road. Talks about wine and winemakers, old walls, oak barrels, …
- 11.00 am Stop at the most prestigious vineyards such as Romanée Conti, La Tâche, Grands Echezeaux…with vineyard maps and explanations.
- 11.30 am Wine-tasting at La Grande Cave de Vougeot in Vougeot and visit of the cellar
- 12.30 am Experience a good French casual lunch in a charming village restaurant: La Toute Petite Auberge or Le Relais du Grepissot
- 2.15 pm Jam tasting at La Ferme Fruits Rouges, a local fruit grower that makes excellent jam the old way, in copper pans.
- 3 pm Visit of the Medieval Château du Clos de Vougeot that housed the monks of Cîteaux. Their 700 years of experimentation and permanent search for high quality laid many of the foundations for winemaking in Burgundystill in use today.
- 4.00 pm Visit and wine-tasting at Comte Senard, a Grand Crus winemaker in Aloxe-Corton. The unique opportunity to taste very special white and red Grands Crus.
- 5.00 pm Return to La Terre d’Or – relaxing time before dinnerDeparture day:8 to 11.30 am Breakfast and departure

For this all-inclusive 3-night stay:

- + 350€ based on single occupancy
The all inclusive stay includes:
- 3 nights in prestige B&B.
- 3 breakfasts.
- 2 lunches
- Your first dinner with the best Burgundy cheeses and charcuteries + salad and home made cake
- All guided visits with extensive commentary on Burgundy wines and the Burgundy region.
- Transportation with our car
- All admission fees for museums, castles,…
- 4 to 5 wine tastings + aperitif in the grotto
- Other tastings, depending on availability: jam, chocolate…
- Here at La Terre d’Or:
- visit of our Clos with Jean-Louis (a young vineyard and truffle plantation!)
- visit of the special grotto under the house
- relax in the Jacuzzi down there, or by the pool, on the terrace and the romantic gardens…
Not included in the price:
2 dinners are not included – only your first dinner is included
your wine purchases: it’s a good opportunity to select wines that you really like and may not find at home at the local price. Winemakers can ship to your door and you save 20 % VAT (that pays for most of the shipping costs).
Conditions:
The program of this special 3 night all-inclusive stay is often adapted according to your interests, the weather conditions and the winemakers’ availability. Guided day tours may be switched according to opening days of the places we visit.
